If you are a successful “In-House” or “Floor” bidder, payment is due on the day of the sale, prior to removing your item(s) from our gallery. If you were not physically present at the auction and won as an absentee, telephone, Invaluable, or LiveAuctioneers bidder then payment is due within 5 days of notification of your winning bids. Applicable packing and shipping charges may be paid separately after that process is completed. We pack in-house and ship upon request only in the order of such a request on most items. We cannot determine the cost of packing, shipping, and insurance until packing is completed and the box is weighed, measured, etc. As we generally ship for 150-250 customers after each auction, if you are in the second half of our packing order, it may be two to three weeks before your package ships. If we are unable to provide this service, you may view our list of available transport companies.

Accounts that are not paid in full within 25 days of the sale date are subject to a 2% monthly finance charge. Each returned check is subject to a $50.00 service charge. The buyer is liable for all costs associated with the collection of balances due, including attorney’s fees. Funds are accepted in United States Dollars (USD) only.

Due to the new Nexus sales tax law that all internet sales need to be in compliance with, we are requesting that our non-Virginia customers who have a Resale Tax Number provide that info to Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates with appropriate documentation, i.e., a current copy of you resale tax certificate for our files. Documentation should be emailed to info@jeffreysevans.com  or mailed to Jeffrey S. We are in the process of monitoring the number of sales per state and once we meet the threshold of said state we will be collecting sales tax from buyers from said state unless we have an exempt form on file.

We accept cash, check, money order, MasterCard® or VISA®, and wire transfers as payment. Items paid with uncertified funds may be held up to 10 business days for all checks drawn on United States’ banks or 4 to 6 weeks for international checks. Wire transfers are subject to an additional bank service fee (currently $15.00 USD) per transaction, which must be included in the net amount we receive. Please note that your bank may also charge a fee for this service. Any and all additional bank transfer fees will be charged to the bidders’ credit card. We will furnish wiring instructions upon request. All winning lots are subject to a Buyer’s Premium (percentage added to the hammer price) dependent upon how you bid. We do not take PayPal.
