STAFFORDSHIRE NAUTICAL MOTIF TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring an active sea battle depicting ships in plumes of cannon smoke, having bold shell border decorations. Having old hand-brushed museum accession number "89.00.1847" to underside, otherwise unmarked.

Condition: Undamaged, having minimal light short scattered scratches from use. Manufacturing flaws, including stilt marks to front, as made.

Circa : First half 19th century.
