STAFFORDSHIRE NAUTICAL MOTIF TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC WASH PITCHER AND BASIN, each featuring Approaching Port scene, depicting ships encircling a castle-like structure with nondescript flag at top, having bold shell and fruit border design. Unmarked.

Condition: Jug with hairline to body, a faint radial hairline to base, and some professional restoration including to spout and rim chip; basin having professional restoration to moderate break and scattered short light scratches from use.

Circa : First half 19th century.
