STAFFORDSHIRE NAUTICAL MOTIF TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SOUP TUREEN, ovoid form with scallop shell molded handles and cover having molded shell finial, exterior featuring Sailing Galley pattern depicting a tall-masted ship flying the Union Jack on rough seas, and interior featuring Fleet Scene II pattern depicting several ships on rough seas. Unmarked.

Condition: Excellent visual condition, having some areas of professional restoration including to rim, base, and cover edge, cover flange with minor flake, and some minor glaze wear including to handle edges and finial.

Circa : First half 19th century.

Item Dimensions: 9 1/4" HOA, 11 7/8" x 8 1/4" rim.
