STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN / CANADIAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC VEGETABLE DISH AND COVER, square form, base featuring "QUEBEC", as printed to underside, depicting sailboats on the Lawrence River below a large bluff with figures in foreground, cover having figural flower finial with Highlands at West Point, Hudson River scene, and bold shell border design. Additional marks to underside include a printed American eagle with shield and banner with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "15".

Condition: Mostly undamaged with minimal wear, except cover with minor hairline to underside that does not appear to go through to front.

Circa : 1818-1846.
