STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATE, featuring "THE CAPITOL / WASHINGTON", as printed to underside, depicting the famous domed building with figures and farm animals in foreground. Additional marks to underside include printed American eagle and shield with banner having "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and an impressed eagle and shield with "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA" and "T".

Condition: Undamaged, except having some light short scattered scratches from use.

Circa : 1818-1846.
