STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring light blue transfer of "THE NARROWS / FROM / FORT HAMILTON.", as printed to underside, featuring a view of Staten Island and New York harbor from the fortification on Long Island with figures and sheep in foreground, having scroll border decoration. Additional marks to underside include printed American eagle with shield above pattern name and "W.R." below and impressed royal lion and unicorn and shield to center with "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA / W.R. & Co."

Condition: Undamaged, having some minor light short scattered scratches from use.

Circa : 1830-1854.
