STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATE, featuring "HIGHLANDS, HUDSON RIVER / NEAR NEWBURGH", as printed to underside, depicting boats on calm water surrounded by rocks and looming mountains, having bold shell border design. Additional marks to underside include a printed American eagle with shield and banner having "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and impressed eagle and shield with "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA".

Condition: Having minute rim flake and light short scattered scratches from use.

Circa : 1818-1846.
