STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring "TAPPAN BAY / FROM GREENBURGH" pattern, as printed to underside, depicting a bay with boats and figures in foreground, having bold shell border design. Additional marks to underside include printed American eagle and shield with partial "E PLURIBUS UNUM" to ribbon above, impressed eagle with shield mark encircled by "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA" to underside.

Condition: Undamaged, having minimal wear to base. Manufacturing flaws, including stilt marks to rim, as made.

Circa : 1818-1846.
