STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SAUCE TUREEN AND UNDERTRAY, each of ovoid form, featuring the Boston State House #1 pattern, depicting a domed government building flanked by other structures, figures including one with wheelbarrow, sheep, and cattle in foreground, having a floral and vine border decoration. Tray impressed "ROGERS" to underside. Together with a sauce ladle having a rural scene to bowl featuring a piping shepherd, a sitting woman, sheep, and a dog. Three pieces total.

Condition: Excellent undamaged condition, except cover handle having two minute glaze wear spots.

Circa : 1815-1842.
