STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring a Roman-dressed figure holding a basket of fruit in left hand, a sickle in right hand, having shield with American eagle and "PEACE / PLENTY" at right side, with floral surround. Marks to underside include impressed crown encircled by "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE".

Condition: Undamaged, except having some usage wear including light short scattered scratches and an approximately 1" L area of minor glaze loss to well rim.

Circa : 1814-1834.
