STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, each side depicting a waterside monument with canons and flags dedicated to naval heroes of the War of 1812, having "WASHINGTON / INDEPENDENCE" printed to base, and two figures to the right, having floral border decoration. Unmarked.

Condition: Having a minor flake to end of spout, a bruise to lower interior only, two radial hairlines to base underside that do not appear to go through to interior, and some scattered glaze wear including spout.

Circa : Circa 1825.
