STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SUGAR BOWL, featuring La Fayette at Franklin’s Tomb, depicting a figure seated beside an urn monument, the base reading "FRANKLIN", nautical scene in background, and floral surround. Marks to underside include printed "23" and impressed "L".

Condition: Excellent visual condition having some professional restoration including to hairline, a few minute glaze flakes to rim, and cover flange having minor chip and flake.

Circa : 1818-1846.
