STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC COFFEE POT, baluster form with high domed cover and beehive finial, depicting George Washington standing at his tomb with a scroll in hand, background featuring ships and a town by water, having floral border decoration. Having printed "34" and impressed "R" to underside, otherwise unmarked.

Condition: Mostly undamaged, having very minute bruise/hairline to handle and some glaze wear/loss to end of spout. Manufacturing flaws, including moderate glazed over chip to foot, as made.

Circa : 1818-1846.
