STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, depicting the "BATTLE OF / BUNKER HILL", as printed to underside, having soldiers in formation in foreground, background featuring a blazing fire to ridge on right and ships on a river on left. Marks to underside include impressed "STEVENSON" and old, red hand-brushed accession number "1961.281". Together with a giltwood framed circa 1825 Bunker Hill Monument Association's induction certificate for "Mr. George W. Stearns", featuring the source print of the battle scene depicted on the platter. Two pieces total.

Condition : Excellent visual condition having professional restoration to rim and some scattered glaze wear to rim edge; certificate very good overall condition having minor discoloration and toning, frame with expected age wear. Not examined outside of frame.

Circa : 1810-1835.
