STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATE, depicting twin portraits of Washington and La Fayette, the left having "WASHINGTON" above and "4th JULY 1776" below and right with "WELCOME LA FAYETTE" above and "THE NATIONS GUEST / AUG. 1826" below, having border designs including urns, scrolls, and flowers. Having partial printed scroll mark "R [STEVEN]SON & WILLIAMS / Cobridge Staffordshire" to underside.
Condition:
Excellent visual condition, having area of professional restoration to rim and some light short scattered scratches.
