ROUZEE FAMILY, ESSEX CO., VIRGINIA MAHOGANY APOTHECARY CHEST, hinged lid concealing fitted interior retaining some original bottles, most with original labels, over single drawer with contents, and likely original brass pull. Yellow pine secondary wood. Retains likely original surface with rich color.

Condition : Very good overall as-found condition, top with old repairs to veneer, and with areas of expected usage wear.

Circa : Circa 1810.
