MID-ATLANTIC KENTUCKY-STYLE LONG RIFLE, approximately .40 caliber, tiger maple fullstock with brass end cap and buttplate, four-piece engraved brass patchbox with unusual profile fore end having engraved eye, ear, and hair, carved cheek rest with inlaid brass ornament below and German silver angel face with stylized wings above, additional German silver inlay to wrist and forestock, rifled octagonal barrel with illegible script initials to top flat, double set trigger, percussion lock plate marked "WARRANTED" below illegible name, period ramrod.

Condition : Very good condition with old surface, repairs to forestock at end and forward of lock plate.

Circa : First half 19th century.
