We conduct monthly, and sometimes twice monthly catalogued auctions at our gallery located at 2177 Green Valley Lane, Mt. Crawford, Virginia, 22841. Telephone: 540.434.3939. Email: info@jeffreysevans.com. Standard office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ET.
Auction descriptions and preview highlight photos are posted two to three months prior to each sale. The complete auction catalogue is posted online 7-10 days prior to the auction.
Standard auction public viewing is held from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday preceding the sale, and beginning at 8:00 am the day of the sale. All items are available for viewing until sold. Please check specific auction dates to verify viewing times.
We sell in lot number order at an average pace of 100 lots per hour, therefore an auction containing 600 total lots would take approximately six hours to complete. However, the auctioneer’s speed can vary from 80 to 120 lots per hour depending on the type of auction and the material being sold.
Internet Bidding
Live Internet bidding is now available through Jeffrey S. Evans LIVE. Once you have registered and been approved for the auction you will have the capability to place a bid in real-time. You also can watch the auction while it is in progress, which does not require registration.
Our auctions will continue to be available through LiveAuctioneers and Invaluable, at a higher buyer’s premium.
Note: Although LiveAuctioneers uses Pacific Time (PT) for ALL of their auctions, we are located in Virginia, which is on Eastern Time (ET); therefore our actual auction time is 3 hours later than the time shown on LiveAuctioneers.
